September’s Pick – Chris’s Gabion Retaining Wall

This month’s project spotlight goes to Chris for his fantastic gabion retaining wall. He filled our cut-to-size gabions with Ballachulish slates, giving the wall a distinctive and eye-catching look.

What makes Chris’s project even more impressive is how the wall varies in height to follow the natural slope of his garden, creating a smooth transition between different levels. The dark slates contrast beautifully with the greenery around, making the wall both a practical and stylish feature in the landscape.

Honourable Mention – Simon’s Chain Link Fence

Simon put up a green plastic-coated chain link fence, choosing a durable option to secure his property. Even though it was his first time tackling a project like this, he handled the project with ease, and the result is a sturdy, great-looking fence, blending in well with the surrounding greenery.

Honourable Mention – Lizzy’s Security Fence

Lizzy and her team at German Shepherd Rescue Elite installed 500 meters of our wire security fencing to secure their woodland and training areas. The fencing ensures a safe space for their dogs to roam and train off-lead, providing lasting durability.
